SITE SETTING OUT ENGINEER - CIVILS - LIMERICK
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a multi-disciplined Utilities and Civil Engineering
Contractor working with Local Authorities, Irish Water, Group Water
Schemes, Local & County Councils.
They are leading specialists in Trenchless & Utilities Contracting and
have undertaken numerous major civil engineering projects in the
water, roads & telecoms sectors.
A site engineer with hands on setting out experience is required to
join the team working on public realm projects in Limerick City
Centre.
Promote and ensure high standards of Health, Safety and Quality on
site
Setting out and preparing for works daily
GPS & Total Station site surveys and observations
Day-to-day supervision of the site, including supervising and
monitoring the site labour force and the work of subcontractors
Assisting with monthly progress reports for line manager
Public Liaison
Coordinate design element activities with consultant engineers
REQUIREMENTS
BSc in Civil Engineering or related discipline
3+ years’ experience in similar role with main/civils contractors on
utilities / street works
Excellent communication and training skills
Hold a full driver’s license
Ability to demonstrate leadership with a positive approach throughout
the team
